EKFB (a joint venture of Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall) first used Vislock to replace paper permits to dig on its section of HS2. In October 2025 the project passed 1,000 permits. Less than a year later it has passed 10,000, with zero service strikes recorded on work controlled by a Vislock permit. ## Why the numbers matter Every permit is a high-risk activity that has been planned, checked and approved before anyone breaks ground. On a project the size of HS2 that means thousands of separate excavations, hundreds of teams and constantly changing site conditions. Digital permits give EKFB: - **Control:** nobody digs until the right checks are complete and the permit is approved. - **Visibility:** live status of every permit across every site, on a GIS map. - **Accountability:** a complete, time-stamped audit trail of who checked, approved and closed each permit. ## Thank you A huge thank you to the EKFB teams and everyone who has supported the continued growth of Vislock.
