# Vislock

> Vislock is a UK service protection solution company. Its digital permit to dig platform replaces paper permits and controls the whole excavation permit process to reduce the risk of utility (service) strikes on construction and infrastructure projects.

Vislock is used on major UK projects including HS2 (EKFB), with over 20,000 permits issued, over 15,000 users and more than 100 projects. Over 10,000 permits have been issued on HS2 with zero service strikes. Vislock is Cyber Essentials certified.

## What Vislock does
- Digital permit to dig (permit to excavate) on site tablets and in the cloud
- Integrates STATS utility records, PAS128 surveys and GIS/CAD/BIM drawings
- GIS mapping and geofencing: permits can only be issued at the place of work
- Locked workflow gateways, digital approvals and defined roles (client, permit manager, permit requester, permit issuer, permit receiver, as-builts)
- Competency and induction checks, photo validation of located services, daily briefings
- Dashboards, reports and full audit trails
- Digital permits to drill inside buildings, with GPR validation

- Vislock Light: a simpler permit to dig for smaller sites and short jobs, with STATS searches integrated into the platform and permits issued on site using GIS
- Vislock Civil: the full permit to dig for civil engineering and construction projects
- Vislock Utilities: for utility companies and their contractors working on gas, water, electricity and telecoms networks
